The aim of the Rub & Roll Tennis Club is to give people of all ages the opportunity to get to know the sport of tennis, so we start afternoon sessions called preschool tennis for the youngest.
For children at the age of 4-6, the most important thing is to develop attention, which they can learn best in a playful way on the tennis court. During our group training sessions, they learn to cooperate with their partners, actively participate in the development of team spirit, and at the same time, in addition to the continuous understanding of tasks, their ability to concentrate also develops.
Due to the combination of the ball and the racket, they receive a continuous stimulus, which in this age group mainly appears in the combination of rolling the ball on the ground, deflecting it, and fine hits. During this, the children go along a skills course, where they can encounter 3-4 different tasks within a round.
It is important that, in addition to the implementation, we also place great emphasis on understanding and following the rules, which is why parents can monitor the training while staying outside the field. The main reason for this is that the child learns to complete the tasks on his/her own and during the session (s)he finds the enjoyment of the games in team cooperation from self-centeredness.
During the sessions, we provide the children with a racket and ball of the appropriate size for the age group, with which they can really easily achieve success on the tennis court.
